„The Early Twenties“ is Felix Kayser’s very personal reminiscence of the past five years. His photographs are mostly digital, occasionally also analogue. They show a mixture of fashion, portraits and everyday life, between light and shadow, shades of grey and colours. In the midst of all this, stages are created for the female protagonists, who are portrayed in a less artificial, more spontaneous and natural way. The multifaceted nature of these women characterises the photographic compositions as much as the ever-present historical architecture of the urban scenes. The interplay between the two makes Felix Kayser’s photobook of more than 120 pages as unique as it is timeless.
